Avid Quad Core Specs – Help Needed
Hi,
I know Snow Leopard is not certified yet for Avid, but we are looking at getting a 2 x 2.26 quad core machine w/ the old Leopard OS installed.
Will this work for us since the qualified Quad core machines are all 2.66 ghz and up? Doesn’t quite make sense to us since slower notebook machines are qualified. Surely a 2.26 will work?
We don’t know how Avid’s quad core performance is going to be – have read all the threads on the subject here on the cow. IF there are updates from anyone on this thread on performance / stability – that would be much appreciated.
Will be running Mojo DX on this.

The Avid specs qualify the dual quad core 2.26 with MC software only not DX – anyone running a similar config on this? Thanks
