    Hi,

I’m editing on Avid Express DV HD 5.0 on a Mac G5. I’m using Avid Pan and Zoom for my camera moves on my stills and suddenly all my moves have disappeared. The display is set for target and all the keyframe values are still intact. Does anyone know what’s gong on?

    Thanks

Have you rendered? Try that, and/or make sure “Render on the fly” is turned on.

Yes, it is rendered and render on the fly is on. When i try to render it now, there are no camera moves despite the keyframes. Also, when i switch the display to source there is only a crosshair and no white wireframe.

I have no idea. Never seen this happen. Has anything been installed on your system lately? And are the pictures you’re panning and zooming on still showing up–just not the moves on them? If the pictures are still there, try reloading them and see if it makes a difference. Otherwise, you have me stumped.

i’ve had a similar issue happen recently. i would press play and the picture would be there, i’d press play again to reveiw the edit and the picture would disappear, i could never tell when it was going to work. this happened mostly when there were multiple pictures in a sequence, usually in excess of 6 or 7.

what seems to have worked for me, though it may have been coincidence, is deleting the reference files in your “OMFI MediaFiles” folder; the two files ending in “.pmr” and “.mdb”

good luck to you, let me know how it turns out.
