  Avid on a laptop?

  I want to run Xpress on a Compaq V2157A (not negotiable so don’t tell me not to) – Celeron M 1.3Gh, Shared graphics mem on Intel Extreme graphics 2. It comes with 256Mb ram and I can afford to up it to 512Mb, but I wonder if I can put asymetric ram sizes in the 2 available ports?

  e.g. keep the old 256Mb and add a 512Mb card for a total of 768Mb.
