Avid omfi export question
Hi all I have to make an omfi export
for a sound dub and was wondering
if the audio level changes and effects
etc stay in the omfi or is it just the audio
with no extra info?. I’m hoping that it will
stay in there so the dubbing mixer can use it
as a guide. Any thoughts?.. -

Be aware that on the ProTools side, the sound editor elects whether to import this info or not.
Many will elect not to, preferring to start from scratch.

Depends on what versions you and your audio guy are running. Some may work. None may work.
You might want to make a wav or Aiff file of your mix as well.
