Avid not seeing mounted drives after it opens
My company just switched to Avid 2024, and all AEs are seeing the same problem when mounting another Nexis drive after opening Avid. Once Avid is open, if we mount another drive, Avid won’t show that drive as an option in its dropdown menu when trying to ingest, export, etc. The only option to get it to see the new drive is to exit Avid and reopen it, but it’s very annoying since we’re frequently hopping between multiple projects and workspaces.
I’ve tested refreshing media directories and loading media databases options which hasn’t made newly mounted Nexis spaces show up.
2018 allowed us to mount new drives while running Avid, so it seems like this was removed in 2024. Or is there a button to manually update mounted drives?
We are on Mac Studios running Sonoma 14.7.6.
