Avid Not Seeing alpha on still images
All of a sudden I am having trouble importing still files (tiff, pict, psd, whatever) into my Avid Adrenaline with Alpha. The just come in black. If I set my media creation settings to MXF rather than OMF it works fine. I don’t have this problem on any of my other 3 Adrenalines, what’s the deal?

Check the settings on your import window.
Right click in a bin and select import.
Select Options.
Make sure the “Invert Alpha” is selected.
