Hi. I just transfered a bunch of media to my drives. I capured on Adrenaline and am editing AXP. Video is DNxHD which went into MFX folders, both “1” and “Avid.2” folders, depending. Audio went into OMFI folders, same two types of subfolders.

Some but not all of the audio was relinking. All of the video was linked. First thing I did on all the drives was delete the “msmFMID.pmr” and “msmMMOB.mdb” files.

Now none of my media is linked! No video, no audio, all media is offline! When I try to relink, nothing is found. I’ve turned off all restrictions in the relinking options.

I’ve 1.7 terabytes of footage sitting here. HELP!!!

So, a further look showed me where the new index files were getting written… and none of them in the same subfolders as the media. So I moved the media to the same folders as the index files, then deleted the index files.

Seems Avid Express Pro is happy when DNxHD media is in “Avid MediaFiles/MFX/1” and audio is not in any subdirectory at all, just in “OMFI MediaFiles”.

    So there.
