  Avid Meta Sync & closed captioning

  I understand that the built-in meta sync supports closed captioning. Does anyone have any experience with this such as complementary software necessary?
  I edit an ongoing 1/2 hour program which will need cc as of May, 2006, and need some feedback, please. I have read the meta sync info in Avid (which is quite extensive and intricate) and could really use someone with experience in this area to help me out.
