    I have about 20hrs of media digitized for a PC Avid which also needs to be copied to drive for Final Cut editing. Is there a way to convert this media or this it need to be redigitized in Final Cut?

    You need to redigitize.
    Avid is not a Quicktime based editing system, like FCP.
