I’ve just come back from an online on an Nitris system and encountered . It’s a fifteen minute short, with about seven different stills in it. I had given them unique identifiers, which appear in the offline version of the sequence. For some reason, the consolidated timeline referenced the same still seven different times.

Has this ever happened to anyone before? Any suggestions for what might have caused this? Is this an Avid bug?

(I offlined on a MacPro Media Composer 4.0.5.)

    Thanks,

    Jaclyn

You need to be more specific, as “a Nitris system” can be eiter a DS Nitris, a Symphony Nitris (classic), a Symphony Nitris DX or a Media Composer Nitris DX.

    I know, bad nomenclature.

My best guess is that these were all broken down to source tape names and timecode, and these would all point to 00.00.00.00. This has all improved in MC5 as it lets you assign tape/filenames and allows TC for filebased imports.
