    Avid Media Composer 6.5.3 NU…whats it worth?

    We’ve got an old NuBus based Avid Media Composer 6.5.3
    system.

    It has the external drives and break out boxes for composite
    and component, though the component input doesn’t seem to be
    working currently.

    This unit can digitize and edit from AVR12 to AVR75 (betaSP quality)

    What’s an old complete system like this worth?

    Its running o/s 7.x and includes dual 17 inch mitsubishi monitors.

    I was looking on ebay and it looks like the whole thing
    is worth about 350 dollars at best.

    does that sound about right?

    Still a great offline system for straight cuts.

    But that sounds about right. Maybe $500.
