  AVID MEDIA COMPOSER 3 on MAC/PC Workflow

  We are currently having 6 editing suites with Avid Xpress Pro 5.7. This will be upgraded to Media Composer 3 and all are now connected to a EditShare 5.1 Server.

  I will also expand with 2 new editing suites. One for batching and one for screeningroom.

  All media we work with are shot on DV25 og DVCPRO25.

  My question is- with Media Composer 3 working with EditShare server. Will I experience any problems if I rather use Macintosh for those two new suites? And the 6 old one remains. Can they work together in Avid without any trouble this way?
