Avid Media and Raid stacking
I am about to purchase a pegasus promise. The R4 will suit me for what I’m currently, but eventually I’ll need more. The question is, if I were to buy an R4 now and say another one later, can it be configured to work together? So that If I have a 4 TB project the Avid media folder will write to both at the same time? Or do I need to save my pennies for an R6?

It will depend on your raid card, but yes I believe so. In my personal opinion, go for at least the 6 tb if you can, the 4 tb is a way worse buy than the 6 or 12 tb pegasus.
