avid mc color
Hi,
I’m just diving into the mc color, its been good so far, once I got Resolve to recognize it. Anyone out there using that board? I can tell I am going to have a lot of questions that arent answered by the panel layout sheet put out by Blackmagic.
Is there a key for “outside” power window? to make a new node with the inverse window, so i dont have to make another window and try to match the size and invert it etc…
how to use curves? is there a mouse insert function? or am i using the mouse here?

What you are asking about is actually an “outside node” –> right click on the node you wish to affect.
Curves are mostly mouse-driven. Clicking in the image with the eyedropper will add a point to the curve.
I wish it added a “pint” to the curve.

yes i found the outside node, it was right there with the other nodes, oops.
yes i was afraid i was using the mouse for curves. too bad, as i use curves a lot for fine tuning balance, and it seems awkward to go to the mouse for that. I’m adjusting how i work to rely less on curves, i guess.i wish there werent so many function commands on this board, but love it so far. especially the sparkly trackballs.
