  AVID MC Activation Code Attributes Failure

  Hi,

  I have had to re-install Avid Media Composer version 3.5 three times onto an XP pc. On the third occassion is prompted me to load in my serial number and product ID, but the error mesage: KCAV: Failed to get Activation Code Attributes. I heard this happens if you try and load MC more than twice and you need new codes from Avid in such (surely quite common) cases.

  So MC has stopped letting me use the codes that came with it on the same computer, and trying to get an access code so I can email or talk to someone from Avid is impossible if you’re unsupported, yet the software was only purchased 4 months ago! I just want to use what I paid for. Anyone got any sensible sugegstions?
