Avid mc 5.5 phantom workflow ???
Posted by Aysegul Efe on October 1, 2011 at 12:09 pmHas anyone got a smooth avid mc 5.5 phantom workflow, step by step guide? Would be great to know he file based workflow as well as video( recording onto nanoflash them cf cards). Thank you so much!

https://www.visionresearch.com/Service–Support/Downloads/Software/Or on a Mac, the above link references Glue Tools as the solution to create .mov files.
A LUT may need to be applied in either software. You might want to check whether DaVinci Resolve support this file and you can create .mov from there, apply a LUT as well as color correct.

October 3, 2011 at 12:05 pmThank you Michael, I figured out the software and converting bit but I can’t seem to be able to import the mxf’s or the qt ir the tiffs inti avid mc 5 .. I guess I need a mac and maybe compressor to compress tiffs into a QuickTime maybe??

If you use our GT Phantom Cine toolkit, you can use Compressor to convert the footage to DNxHD. You will also be able to have a timecode track converted, too.
