AVID locators for use as chapter markers in Encore CS3??
Does anyone know if there is a format to export from AVID that Encore will understand to set chapter points at segments that I’ve marked with locators in my AVID timeline?
Also, complete side note…how much black do you put before and after an export from your NLE, I’m transcoding in Sorenson. Is 1 second enough black to catch the I-frames?

There’s no way to transfer markers from Avid to Encore (you can do this when using Premiere).
