Avid ISIS 5000 Locked P2 Files
Hello all. I have an Avid ISIS 5000 connected to to three Mac Pro’s running 10.8.2. When I transfer P2 files from a Panasonic HPX250 to the ISIS, I am unable to delete them because the .MXF files are all locked. I have to individually unlock each file to delete them. Any thoughts on how to resolve this issue? This is very frustrating.

P2 MXF’s have always been locked. The trick to deleting them (on a Mac) is to put them in the trash, and hold down the OPTION key when emptying it. Not sure how to deal with this on an ISIS….

Are you able to drag them to the trash? If you hold down the option key when you choose to empty the trash, will it kill those files?
The next option is to do do it from terminal, but that would not be my first preference.
