ok guys here is the deal. I am about to begin editing a project for a client. He has avid express 5.6 on his PC. I have the same thing on my MAC. I want to import the video off of the his external hard drive to my system. Is this possible?
    Thanks

    Rob

I can’t speak from personal experience here but I think you can. Fortunately, you have the Mac, so you should be able to mount his PC formatted drive and your system will see it. Then you can drag his media files from his drive to yours and they will copy. I think this is a preferable way to move the media across than using import.

    Hey Rob,

You shouldn’t have much of a problem unless you are using Title Tool. It seems to get a little funky going from PC to Mac. I usually have to reformat or tweak the titles.
    Just a little heads up.
