Avid error urgent
Hello friends,
we are working with adrenaline and Media Composer 2.5.0 and we are capturing with XDCAM pdw 1500 in dvcam format by firewere.The big probem is next, when you was finished to capture, you beggin to work in timeline, some times appears next avid error:
FatalExcpt Exception: DecompStream::GetAndLoadThreadedFrame RetrieveThreadFrame failed 20061004164844and you can’t play when arrive in this frame.
Somebody know if I can find solution for this. Is urgent.

Does it do this after a restart? Have you tried redigitizing? Have you tried trashing your MCstate (c:/program files/avid/settings)? How about trashing your media database files in each of your media drives? NOTE: The last two suggestions need to be done while the software is shut down…)

Yes, I tried to restart, and the problem will be continuing.
I can redigitzing, and then the problem disappear, but is possible that you will have the same problem in another frame of the redigitzed.
I think the problem will come of the XDCAM firewere?????Thank’s Jon

Are you using FW 800 or 400? Once you get the error, it happens in the same place UNTIL you redigitize, correct?

we are working in FW 800. (I don’t really sure) tomorrow I’ll tell you. But I think is FW 800 because is the big FW connection. Do you know if is possible that this error are comming for not have the latest upgrade software in PDW-1500? (xdcam).we are in contact an THANK YOU VERY MUCH FROM BARCELONA
