Avid Effect Help
Hi guys, 1st post, glad to be apart of the cow.
Ok, an effects query if some of you may know the answer to, I have seen this effect, but am unsure how it was done.
I use Avid Composer and i am trying to figure out how to create an effect for a TVC i am working on where i have a static car composed in the shot, i am trying to create a moving rectangle window which when the magnified window pans across the car, we can see in it a magnified and more detail of the part of the vehicle as it goes across.
I do not know what the effect is, but i think maybe its some type of mask?

Use animatte to mask on/off the closer shot you’ll need for the magnification effect. Nesting a resize won’t work well as it will tear up the image quite a bit.
