I’ve been burning DVD’s from Avid Xpress Pro. The’ve worked, but they don’t look like the quality that they are supposed to. They often look, dark, slightly pixelated, and “videoish”. Feel me? I just need to know if I’m using the correct settings on my EXPORT FROM AVID OR THE CONVERSION (SQUEEZE) IN MY COMPRESSION SOFTWARE.

So what are the specs. Should I export as a quicktime, AVI, or mpeg-4? which is the best.

And I’ve been compressing them into mpeg 1 and 2. DVD ntsc-large?

I hope this is making sense? If you can understand please drop me a line.

Also, I’m using Avid DVD by SONIC. Is it the software you think? Is there another program to use?

I’m running avid xpress pro on a PC

I’ve had people burn DVD’s for me on other systems, and they seem to work fine.

    what am I doing wrong?
