  Avid DS Workflow Transition To FCP?

  Hi all, I am at a small production company that does a lot of commercials and industrial videos. We are currently equipped with a couple of Avid DS systems and will soon be installing a Kona FCP system. We are not looking to eliminate Avids but would like transfer as much of the media and graphics as possible to the FCP system. It doesn’t seem like too difficult of a task, just time consuming. My question is: Has anyone encountered this situation and what are some things I should expect? What elements from the actual DS projects will I be able to transfer? Any advice or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
