AVID does not open
Greetings and thanks to all the brilliant folks who have helped me till now. New Query: I am trying to open my AVID MC, which I have been using successfully for more than three years. And it has been terribly slow to open. After three hours, it has shown me only the bare outlines of the bins and shows the two source and record windows. It is stuck on a window that says “Reading Sequence bins.” The whirling disc is whirling along, but nothing has changed for an hour. What to do??? Force Quit? Wait it out?
And what seems to be going on?

You can crash out of it, and next time you launch MC, hold down the option or ALT key. This opens the project but not any of the bins that may have been left open on last close.
