All my edit as been done in AVC-Intra 100 in MC7, when exporting QT or QT REF, i’m unable to open in compressor to encode a QT TCBI, if i check in a finder, normaly a got a icon with a picture of the movie, when checking those AVC file, i got a QT icon, like the file is corrupt or something. I can open the file in Quicktime 7 without any issue, but not in compressor or other encoding software.

Compressor crash blaiming the AVID codec

    PlugIn Path: /Library/QuickTime/AvidAVinCodec.component/Contents/MacOS/AvidAVinCodec
    PlugIn Identifier: com.avid.qtcodecs.AvidAVinCodec
    PlugIn Version: 2.4.0d38280 (2.4.0)

Transfering a SameAsSource Quicktime in another editing room and i got the same issue

Have you tried mixing down to DNxHD or ProRes and then exporting a Quicktime REF? Since it’s reporting an error on that codec, try another codec.

I can mixdown or export as DNx or ProRes and everything work fine. But the time that operation is taking is way to long, (Several hours of editing content). I need to work in Intra

Is there a additional decoder i can install ? i need my QT to be decode with another QT Component !

Wondering if its the AvidAVinCodec as a issue ?

Yes AVC-Intra isn’t natively supported (only within MC) so you need additional codec support. It’s not cheap…
