AVID AUTOSYNC FILE NAMING ISSUES
I work with audio stems daily, anywhere from 8 to 20 tracks per song. AutoSync has been an essential tool in my workflow for syncing these multi-track sessions.
However, something has changed in recent versions. When I create an AutoSync group, it no longer retains the individual track names. Instead, all tracks are renamed to match the first track’s filename. This makes it difficult to identify which track is the bass, which is the synth, etc., without manually renaming everything after the fact.
Previously, AutoSync preserved each track’s original name, which was exactly the behavior I needed.
Is there a workaround I’m missing
