    I’m merging a bunch of audio and video clips using the autosync tool based on the inpoint. Sometimes it happens the wild audio track is longer at the beginning or end. How do I keep these excessive parts where there is no video? When I sync it up he creates a subclip which starts at then inpoint (point of sync) and ends at the end of the video file… The audio track is cut off.

    Yes, shortest clip determines the boundaries. However, you can matchframe back to the full length audio at any point.
