    Red, Avid, Matrox, Tascam, PictureReady! at lafcpug, May 24

    Join us as we bring a little bit of NAB to lafcpug. The famous ProMax Digital Cafe will make a stop at lafcpug, May 24 at the Gallery Theatre in E Hollywood. Booked so far is Ted Schilowitz who will tell you all you need to know about the most talked about camera since the Kodak Brownie, RED. Plus our good friend Tim Wilson will fly in from Boston to show and tell what’s new with AVID. Plus Pino Barile will show off the brand new Matrox MXO. Plus Keith Hatounian will show off the much talked about PictureReady! from Gallery. Plus Jeff Laity of Tascam will show us how to set up and use the FW-1082 Audio/Midi interface to control Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack and Logic. And they will be giving one away as part of our World Famous Raffle. Oh yeah, plus Stump the Gurus.
    This meeting is open to the public as always and seating is first come, best seat.

    A $5.00 donation will be respectfully required at the door.

    Sounds like a good show Mike! I just flew down to LA a month ago, and my jet’s flaps failed. As a result, the plan could not land. They had to drop all their fuel, and go to LAX for the longer runway just to land the darn thing. They tried landing that thing for 2 hours and made us all quite sick. Otherwise, I’d say hell, I’d hop on a plane to watch that show!

    This will become the May DVD then. I’ll look for it when it’s for sale. I’d love to see that RED camera.
