    I am running AVID Media Composer Nitris DX on Windows XP. When I try to open the application this message appears…”The application has failed to start because CoreUtils.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.”
    This all started after I updated my Sony XDCAM ex clip browser. Do I have to re-install the AVID software or is there something else I can do? It simply will not launch!

    If it tells you to reinstall, I’d give that a try. Takes less than 10 mins, usually.
