  Avid and XD Cam

  I couldn’t find much infor on Sony’s XD Cam here but since we are cutting on an avid…here goes

  We recently purchased an XD Cam for use on an outdoor show. All of us are from the old beta cam days so bear with me on what may be a simple question.

  We are operating on DVCam mode but when we import our clips in our avid express pro (v.5.3.1) we seem to be getting what I would call a slight smear on the video. Almost as if it were running at 99% speed.

  It is a bit tough to describe, however, if anyone knows how what may be wrong please let me know.

  Also how can I control audio levels on channels 3&4?
