    Avid and the Sony HVR M35U

    Anyone out there try using the M35U Deck to digitize via firewire with Media Composer 2.7.5 or later?

    I want to buy the deck. Avid says they don’t officially support it but they say that doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t work.

    We’re using a Sony HVR M15U with Express pro 5.8. I get full machine control using the generic dv device setting.
    Strictly SD at this point, going in through MOJO.
