avid ae and qt 7
Hi…I’ve searched and searched….I’m on mac in pal land…AE 6.5 OS 10.3 QT pro 7. An editor exported a bit of video on his avid adrenalin sent it to my Pc at work…I burnt it to a CD and brought it home (put it in my mac) and i get the white screen in qtime…I’ve downloaded (I think) every avid codec I can find…dumped AE preferences…repaired permissions and still nothing…is it me ….Qtime … OSX or what…I’ve had enough now and am going to hit the sack … hope someone can offer some help…best….good night….Roger

If it’s a whitescreen issue with QT then it means that you don’t have the adrenalin CODEC. I suggest you post your Q in the Avid forum plus perform a search at the AVID site.
