Hi, I’ve come across a problem I can’t figure out. The mac i’m using has final cut and avid installed. I was in avid and I wanted to check something in final cut, so not thinking, I quickly opened final cut while avid was still opened. Now I can’t see any video from my avid on my external monitor nor can I send the signal through to the DBeta Deck. I could do both just before I opened final cut. I’ve tried restarting avid and the mac. nothing. I’m using a blackmagic card. I can’t seem to figure this out, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Look on your timeline…in the center, just to the right of the audio meters, there are two sprockets. I’ll wager they have a circle and red line thru them. That means your external hardware is deactivated. Click on that to reactivate it.
