avid 5.7 patch upgrade problems
hi guys,
I tried to patch my avid express from v 5.7 to 5.7.2. I saw the information in the avid editing forums & decided to patch my software. It works just fine when you edit but my dilemma appeared when i’m exporting.
Now there is no option to export to FLV format. I have sorenson squeeze but i didnt upgrade it to export flv files so I used the avid to export directly the flv files.
Is there a way to make the flv export resurface or should i go back to my previous software version?

I’m not familiar with how you are using 5.7 and exporting directly from Avid to .flv.
Depending on the version of Squeeze you have, I would export a QuickTime reference file to Squeeze and make your .flv from there.
Is this not an option?

I think the hesitation is the upgrade cost of Sorenson. (BTW, I believe it’s only $50)

An update was just released for Squeeze to fix the issues with QT 7.2.
Squeeze 4.5.6
