Avid 5.5
Help! I don’t know whether this is just a simple fix or I’m doomed. My Avid will not scroll along the timeline. I can hear the audio tracks in real time, but the video remains as if it’s a still frame. I can manually move the scroll bar with the mouse and see each clip, but I can’t get the picture to move with the JKL keys, or with my mouse.
I am working on OS X Lion 10.7.5, and my media is on a 2T external drive. Any ideas?

5.5 is not supported under OSX 10.7.5, only 10.7.0 (or 10.6.8, 10.6.7 or 10.6.6). Check the Avid Version Matrix and stick to its recommendations religiously: https://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/Compatibility/en267087
