Avid 2.1.5 Workspace is gone
Hello all. I guess that I had a crash/corrruption of some sort today. I say I guess because I didnt notice anything weird. Anyway, my workspace settings have vanished. Hope this isnt too simple of a question but those things, you kind of set and forget. I havent looked at those for two years!! Anyone know where Avis stores workspaces after they are created? also, it seems that i cant save a new workspace. It is grayed out!! Switching gears, what is the proper resolution for flat panel moniotrs. I am working on a dual monitor setup and my right monitor (#2) goes completely black sometimes. Not often, just at the most inoppertune moment. I switched the monitors (2 to 1), added a new monitor, switched the cabling and power supplies but it seems to just happen on monitor #2. I’ve had three different monitors in that number 2 position and it happened to them all. What else can i check? The system is the hp xw8000 with nvidia graphics card. thanks for any help.
