    Hi,

I was asked to make banner videos that would be viewed on stadium led displays.
The client wanted the video files in this format: “AVI uncompressed”

I’ve rendered the video with these settings: format: AVI codec: none

but the client said that it’s not right, and send a sample file, which I compared to the one I rendered, but it was very similar except for the following:
    1- codec: (mine)=24 bits RGB (RV24) vs (client)=15 bits RGB (RV15)
    2- bitrate: (mine)=88.5 Mb/s vs (client)=58.8 Mb/s

the bitrate is higher in mine since I used a lot of graphics and animations
I searched the web for these RV things and couldn’t find a solution to my problem.

    Thank you

Did you get the resolution right? Because I’m pretty sure unless they got a very limited output system that the bitrate would not be a problem.

And have you tried going to 16 bit in the old .avi output options in AME? maybe its just that.

    I don’t understand,

in after effects I’m working under 8bpc, is that something I need to change? or do you mean other render settings? I looked but I’m still lost!
