    Greetings,

I have recently compiled an AVI + 4 Audio Tracks in Premier.

The AVI was rendered out of 3DSMAX with the sound added in premiere.

    Problem.

The AVI without sound runs smooth. As soon as i add the audio files and then export the lot out of Prem as an AVI file ( the client wants it this way as it is going into a PowerPoint Presentation ) the final AVI flickers and pulses.

    Questions

    What is the problem?
How do i get round this to produce a smooth AVI

    or

Would Powerpoint accept the output if i exported it to DVD.

I hope i’ve explained this correctly.

    Regards

You may not be the person who exported it, but I would advise to always export as image sequence from a 3D app (Targa or Tiff for Premiere). It it the most compatible format, and also allows you to restart the export from and to any frame if a minor change is needed or if a system crashes (we all know how long these renders can take)

Have you tried exporting to WMV through Adobe media encoder ?

That’s what I would recommend as a format for PowerPoint. Try 5 MB/s first if this is going full screen. No, the DVD format won’t work with PowerPoint.
