avi audio track not heard in 6.5
Hey Hey …
Pixel workers … maybe you can help here.
I have an 20 sec PAL avi (created on Final Cut) that I have in a Comp.
The video runs fine, but there is no audio playback when playing the Comp.I can play the file outside AE (in WMP), and it sounds fine.
Other audio/video with audio work OK, both in the Comp and from the Project assets.
Confused? So am I. Is there a preference? Nothing is muted in AE.

The audio is probably in a format or codec that AE doesn’t understand. Convert the Audio file to WAV or AIFF – but not MP3 – While AE can read MP3’s, it doesn’t handle them well upon output.
