AVCHD Workflow
What’s the reality of the workflow working with AVCHD? I’m thinking of getting a Panasonic AG HMC150 for an ENG kit but workflow is king turning pieces over for a TV Station and this seems like an issue. I’m on the original Suite version so I would need to update my version to boot.

You need to transcode your AVCHD files into something Media 100 can read, e.g. ProRes. So the import is not instant, but I think it is pretty fast. You simply launch ClipWrap from within Media 100, and there you can transcode your clips into ProRes, and they will automatically import into your Bin. Very easy.
