Hi folks. Is it possible to copy AVCHD clips from one SD card to another? Long story, but I had to shoot a few takes of a project on a personal card and would love to move these clips to one of the project’s SD cards for organization/archival purposes.

I’m afraid the answer is going to be ‘NO’ due to the file structure, especially when used with FCP or Avid. But I didn’t know if there might be a safe way to do this…perhaps with some 3rd party software? However, if it’s going to screw things up, I’ll deal with it as it is!

    Thanks.

As you said, I would try to avoid copying files between cards. Best to put the full file structure on a hard drive. Best third party software is ShotPut Pro.
