AVCHD Log and Transfer Problem
Got a stack of mini DVD-R discs from a client. Don’t know what camcorder was used but it’s AVCHD.
Log and Transfer sees it fine and I can play it in the preview player, which looks perfect. But when I import it to either ProRes or AIC, the resulting file is messed up. Hard to describe, I guess it’s skipping frames.
There’s an option to “remove pulldown and duplicate frames.” Same problem with and without that option (it’s 60i so I don’t need it anyways).

Had to uninstall “Perian” and remove the components from the /Library/Quicktime. That fixed it.
