    Hey guys,

I have Vegas 8 and DVDPro 5 and I cannot get an Apple ProRes file that is 106gig to render to Blu-Ray without some dramas, my PC has been cantakerous of late, and the long render times – 20+hours on a quad core for a 79minute documentary – are resulting in strange failures, I have asked my friend to supply me a file that is ready to burn to Blu-Ray – one that DVDA will not require re-rendering, but he has no idea how to render a compliant file on his mac.

The first time I got an error it appeared with (no message to display) – that is what it said! lol It had an error code, but google came up with nothing, yes, I was world’s first! Yay!

He has latest FCP and Compressor but I am unsure what to get him to render to that will work, I came here cause this is where I usually associate, can anyone point me to where I can get the settings so he can render a AVCHD file, or at least any file compliant with the Blu-Ray project I have created with DVDA?

I have already created a proper menu setup, all the functiosn of the disc are perfect.

    Regards,
    Sean O’Sullivan.
