    Hi Guys,

I first used AVCHD in a project about six months ago. My workflow was a Sony HDR-CX6 for aquisition. Macbook Pro & FCP 6.01 to edit. it all worked as it should with no probs using log and transfer to ingest. I am now trying the same workflow again using FCP 6.02 and i get:-

warning xxxx contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media.

I tried searching the apple support database and came across some info i thought would solve the prob. https://support.apple.com/kb/HT1847 but it did not. so l am wondering if you any of you guys have had the same problem and have managed to find a solution?

    Thanks

Sounds like your folder structure got botched?

Also, check here to see if your camera is officially supported. AVCHD seems to be a bit of anomaly as not all cameras/formats are supported:

Upgrade Quicktime and then upgrade to FCP 6.03 maybe that will get you there, or try MPEG streamclip, Voltaic or something like it to convert the files. Check the related threads
