I am shooting AVCHD 24mbps/PsF29.97. When I ingest .mts files into Premiere via Prelude without transcoding the aliasing is not bad but still unacceptable. If I transcode to ProRes422HQ via Prelude the aliasing is horrible in Premiere. Using modify/interpret footage does nothing and the sequence is set to progressive. We prefer using Prelude for its far more efficient renaming/logging/metadata process over simply coming in through media browser because several producers share a massive server with all our footage.
Am I expecting too much from the C100 in AVCHD? We also have a Ninja2 but occasionally for run and gun we’ll need to keep it simple and run with the sd card.
