    Another quickie…. How do you guy feel about using high quality AVCHD footage mixed with XD Cam footage. When mixing footage in a FCP time line do you see any compression issues down the road that might crop up? Quality or playback problems? The final destination will be H264 for the web.

    Playback is gonna be rough with AVCHD, let alone AVCHD & XDCAM.

    I would transcode all of the footage to Pro Res so it can A) play in the timeline natively (in Safe Mode) PLUS it will be better for effects, composting, etc…and will hold up during post.
