AVCHD footage looks interlaced when unwrapping
Hey guys,
I own a prosumer camera-Panasonic HDC-HS300. Not a bad camera for being HD prosumer except when transcoding/unwrapping. When footage is played back on the camera itself it looks buttery smooth. When transferred over to my Mac, every time the footage moves or pans, it looks very interlaced. It almost looks like horizontal lines run across the screen every time there is camera movement. I use ClipWrap to unwrap the MTS files. Even when I transcode to Apple Pro Res HQ, the footage looks awful. I shoot in 1920×1080 60i. Also looks interelaced when shooting in 24p. Do all AVCHD cameras make footage look like this? Any suggestions on unwrapping?
