  AVCHD file will not import or copy

  Tried to import an AVCHD file into PP. It hung up and we had to force quit. So we tried coping the raw file to another drive to BU and we keep getting error “AVCHD file already exists”. We try to copy the entire “Private” folder. We then moved to another machine and tried to copy drive to drive and we got error “Card 4” already exists. Card 4 is the name of the folder we put the original file into. So we feel the file became corrupt in some way. The other cards/files copy fine. Just that one that hung up the system. Is there a way to repair the file if that is indeed the issue?

  We are on a MAC Pro/Maverics and a MacBook Pro Mtn Lion
