AVCHD Exporting
Hello all-
I am working on a project which has regular DV input as well as one AVCHD shot that is a good portion of my project (we’ll call it camera 1). I am concerned, due to the size of the inital file, that when I export, using the typical Quicktime export with current settings, that the file will be way too large for a DVD. Do I need to convert the final project using compressor? Anytime I try to do this, I run into major issues. The last time I tried to get this project on a DVD, I tried for a week and was never successful – any suggestions?

There are 3 portions – 1 main video (40 minutes) and 2 extras (45 minutes and 15 minutes). I think all together it should be less than 2 hours.
I will try compressor, but I get all confused once I get int there – there are so many options! And then I’ve also had problems with horizontal lines when I use compressor….
