AVCHD clip
I am trying to import AVCHD clips into Vegas 12 tonight. Only the audio is imported and the clip is listed as mpeg-1(one stream – audio) in the Import Clips window. When I import the same clip in Movie Studio it comes in with picture and sound and is listed as mpeg-2 (two streams- audio & video)). I tried importing clips that worked before in Vegas 12 with the same no-picture result. Any ideas?

MediaInfo on the clip ?
Also, AVCHD has file structure system similar to the menu navigation in DVD-video. If you expand your transferred/downloaded file, you may be able to see the ”missing” video file. Depending on what end use software you are using, some may not see part of that structure.
How are you transferring the file ?
